Nerina

Privacy policy

Your cycle records are private by default.

Last updated: 20 July 2026. This policy describes the Nerina mobile app and optional connected features.

Short version. Your period dates, check-ins, notes, measurements and locally generated PDF reports stay on your device by default. Nerina does not use advertising SDKs or product analytics.

Who can use Nerina

Nerina is for people aged 13 and over. A date of birth is used on the device to check eligibility. If the entered age is under 13, onboarding stops and the setup is not saved. The full date of birth is not sent to Nerina; only a safety age band may be used for eligible account features.

Information kept on your device

Cycle dates, daily check-ins, symptoms, moods, notes, measurements, local preferences and locally generated reports are stored on the device. You control any export or sharing of a PDF or other file. Review exports carefully because they can contain sensitive information.

Optional connected features

If you choose to create a Nerina account, we process your email address, account-security information, optional display name, selected avatar, age band, selected mode and consent or safety records. We do not receive your complete date of birth through account creation.

Connected editorial content, educational AI explanations and the adult community are optional. When you ask the AI a question, the question is sent to Nerina’s AI provider to generate an educational, non-diagnostic response. Do not include identifying information in an AI question. When you use the community, posts, replies, reactions, reports and blocks are processed to operate the space, prevent abuse and apply moderation.

Community visibility

Community posts and replies may be visible to other adult community members. Anonymous posting hides your public profile details from other members, but Nerina may retain an internal account association needed for safety, abuse prevention and moderation. Do not share contact details, medical records or information that identifies you or another person.

How we use information

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information and do not use information for cross-app advertising. We use infrastructure and service providers to host optional account and community services, deliver email where applicable, monitor sanitized operational errors and provide the educational AI feature. They may process information only to provide their services to Nerina or as required by law.

Retention and your choices

Local records remain on the device until you delete them, choose Reset all local data in the app or uninstall the app. Optional account information is retained only for as long as needed for the account, security, moderation and legal obligations. You can request deletion from the signed-in account screen or use our account deletion page. Deleting a server account does not automatically erase local records, and resetting the app does not automatically delete an optional account.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect optional connected services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Nerina is offered globally, so authorised service providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Nerina changes. We will publish the current version at this address and change the date above. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@getnerina.com. For general help, visit Support.
